I'm taking an online Event Management course and one of the things we have is a "Question of the Week" which we all have to answer and comment on etc. We get marked on it, otherwise I would not participate because most of the people in my class annoy me. Not all, but most. Most people annoy me in general though so it's not really their fault.
One of the questions had us list different venues where we could potentially hold events, which isn't really a question at all is it? More of an instruction. Anyways, be creative!!!
Most people had good, basic ideas like church, park, library, whatever, but one girl put "rain forest" which I thought was just moronic. You are going to hold an event in an actual rain forest? Really? Ok, good luck with that.
So, I made my list, which was awesome of course, and at the end I put "igloo" as a joke because I thought it was about as ridiculous as rain forest.
Apparently I'm the only one that got the joke. Everyone thought it was "such a great idea!!!" and "that would be so fun!!! How creative and original!!!!".
I can honestly say I didn't expect that. I think I might just stick to joke answers from now on.

Hm. Maybe they were picturing an Ice Hotel sponsored by some sort of vodka. You know, with furs and stuff.
Just like "the rain forest" is actually the city greenhouse, as sponsored by Malibu Rum.
I was going to say the same thing as "Working from home today" - the ice hotel. Same concept as an igloo but totally doable - especially with the snow you get in Regina :-)
I could see someone saying rainforest if you had a biosphere or indoor gardens (like Calgary Zoo) but the actual rainforest? Um, yeah, no.
I actually said, in response to a comment, that I was thinking more along the lines of an ice hotel. I wasn't really...but that's what I said.
You should have said an igloo in the rain forest...now that's creative! (and kind of asinine)
An igloo in a rainforest, that's what you offer up those clients with more money than sense. For instance, the $2M wedding complete with full sized ice sleigh inside the Banff Springs - I'm not even kidding... more money than sense
