Last night a couple of friends and I went to Starbucks to see a lecture on Harry Potter and the Culture of Fear. It was about as good as it sounds. I love Starbucks, however, so I really don't care what I'm doing there, as long as I'm there. I was particularly excited to go there this time because I had gotten a gift card for my birthday and nothing's better than a free coffee right? Right. So, I go up to the till, ask for my complicated pretentious drink, and give the "barista" my card. She looks at it for a minute, turns it over, looks at it again, all the while I'm thinking, "Man, I always get the new people who don't know how to do things. Just ask someone for help if you don't know how to do the gift cards. Ask someone for God's sake!" She finally looks back at me and says,
"Ummm.....I don't think we can use this...."
"You can't use it?! Why not?"
"Ummm..." She hands me back the card.
It's from The Second Cup.
Alright then.

HILARIOUS! You should have answered: "What? What? I can't hear you!"
Absolutely hilarious!
Ha! That's great.
I literally just shot Grande 5-pump non-fat Tazo Chai latte out my nose.
