I won $5.00 on a scratch ticket this morning so I decided that this day is going to be great! Possibly the best day ever. Throughout the day I will post all the great things that happen today and you can post in the comment section all the great things that happen to you! Do you realize that we are making history here? This could very possibly be the best day of all time. And it's just beginning. Stay tuned....
**UPDATE***
4pm: So...nothing really great has happened yet...I had a couple of really productive meetings...my lunch was pretty good...um....hm.....
**UPDATE***
Next day: So, nothing really great happened yesterday. I got an email from a cute boy whom I never thought I would hear from again so that was cool. (is that the proper use of "whom"? What were the Chileans thinking hiring me to teach English? Did I tell you I used to make up answers to grammatical questions? I did. And I really don't feel that bad about it.) Anyhoo, what I did learn from yesterday is that going into a day thinking that something really great is going to happen is much better than going into a day thinking it's going to suck because you have to go into work. I had a really good day yesterday. Even after the furniture delivery guy didn't show up, I almost killed myself trying to flip my mattress and I ripped my brand new bed skirt. Even after that. Let's all learn something from my experience. As a very wise woman once said, "Let's all learn something from my experience".

I had some pretty happy moments - I found out our receptionist can cut cheques to pay me back for work expenses I incurred while our accountant has been away and before I go on holidays next week - Sweet!!
I had my teet cleaned and the hygienist said there was less plaque than usual - yippee (flossing once a month does work!)
And, I discovered the instant messaging on Facebook and chatted live with friends for a while tonight.
All in all, not a bad day (Oh yeah, and i never killed my assistant, that's always a good day)
What exactly is involved with getting your "teet" cleaned?
